I often sense from clients a bit of hesitation when I invite them to slow down… because inevitably, it will mean they have to feel.
Even when that’s exactly what they want help with, it’s so much easier to keep talking through their issue because analyzing keeps them in their minds… where it feels safer.
When you drop down into your heart, there is a risk of feeling the pain, sadness, grief, or anger of a situation.
The key to shifting those feelings is not through making sense of them but through slowing down and allowing your emotions to metabolize.
